“Well, first of all, I was shocked! I had been getting pain treatment with Dr. Roa for the past 2.5 years- She was also excellent. I didn't have good results - so we decided to do another MRI last year and found that I needed to see Dr. Thompkins with the results. I was confident that I didn't need surgery but, he explained how important it was since the bulging disk was moving into my spinal column. So after the shock wore off and I took my husband in with me for another appt. We set up surgery- it was successful.
