Aaron G. Anderson, M.D.
Board-certified, fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon Dr. Aaron Anderson joined Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute in 2007. His practice focus is on the upper extremity. Specializing in the surgical and nonsurgical care of the shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist, Dr. Anderson provides the highest level of specialized upper extremity care and is dedicated to helping people get back to his or her previous level of activity.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he went on to attend the University of Michigan Medical School to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree. After medical school, he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He has additional specialty training through an orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
In his free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys travel, fishing, robotics, construction, sports, and gaming.
Dr. Anderson is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a certificate of added qualifications in surgery of the hand.
Dr. Anderson is available to see patients at our Chesterton, Portage, and Crown Point offices.
