Retired

Dr. Ronald Izynski retired from Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute in November 2021. He was first encouraged by his father to pursue medicine, and as a podiatrist, he enjoyed being able to use his hands, develop relationships with patients and their families, and eliminate pain and discomfort. He was driven by the desire to serve patients and help them achieve their goal to walk comfortably.

After graduating from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology, Dr. Izynski received his medical degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. He was later certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Now in retirement, Dr. Izynski enjoys fishing, hiking, reading, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is also involved in Friends of Fishing and Boy Scouts of America and serves as an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Valparaiso.
