About Dr. Nath
Board certified by both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine, Dr. Nath has over 15 years experience as an anesthesiologist and over 12 years as a pain management specialist. Upon completing her residency in anethesiology at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, she decided to explore a special interest in interventional pain techniques. She went on to complete her fellowship in pain management, also at Rush, where she remained as an attending anesthiologist for 11 years. During this time, Dr. Nath served as Assistant Professor and Instructor for the Rush Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology.

Notably, Dr. Nath developed and performed the anesthetic technique for the first outpatient total hip arthroplasty in 2001. This technique, developed in conjunction with an orthopedic surgeon, was later utilized with the outpatient total knee arthroplasty.

Apart from her active medical practice, Dr. Nath also lends her time and knowledge to patients in need through her continued participation in medical missions. To date, she has provided anesthesia services during 25 of these missions in over 8 countries around the world. She continues to attend three missions abroad each year with a multi-national team of doctors, nurses and volunteers dedicated to providing medical care to disadvantaged countries.
