About Dr. Anderson
Early in his orthopedic surgery training, Dr. Anderson developed a keen interest and aptitude for treating the intricate and complex problems of the hand and upper extremity, in both the operative and clinical settings. He strives to help patients with debilitating injuries return to work and optimal function in a timely manner, and with minimal discomfort. He brings his diverse training experiences in arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to help treat these disorders. His practice with LBJI focuses on hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and microvascular surgery.
Dr. Anderson completed his orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with honors in Cellular and Molecular Biology. He continued his education in Ann Arbor to obtain his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. From there Dr. Anderson moved to Syracuse, New York, where he completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency.
